Why are Surfers Interested?
Interestingly, surfers have been known to consume marijuana to elevate the fun and experience a deeper connection with the ocean. There are scientifically identified benefits of cannabis such as treating anxiety, inflammatory diseases and to ease pain as well as arthritis. However, going surfing while high on cannabis should make an individual hesitant.
Among cannabis effects are its interference with a person’s balance, slows their reaction to events, disorientation and paranoia. Being a personal choice to go to the water stoned, the fact remains that surfing an eventful activity and it does not require one to get high to enjoy it.
